5 Spice Burgers with Crunchy Sweet Salad Explosion

4 ounces cream cheese at room temperature
1/2 cup mayonaise
3 tablespoons
5 chinese spice mix
1 8.5 ounce can of fruit cocktail in heavy syrup drained (save the syrup)
1 12 ounce bag classic coleslaw mix from produce department
1/2 cup green onion, chopped
1 cup prepared bottles sweet n' spicy french dressing
1/2 cup canned diced tomatoes, drained
4 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled
1 pound ground chuck
1 pound ground sirloin
2 tablespoons lime juice
1 Tablespoon saved heavy syrup from fruit cocktail
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper
6 Kaiser rolls, split.



Prepare a medium-hot fire charcoal grill with cover, or heat a gas grill to medium high. First prepare the 5 spice spread: In medium bowl combine the room temperature cream cheese, mayonnaise, and 1 Tablespoon of the 5 chinese spice mix. Whisk together until smooth set aside. Next prepare the Crunchy Sweet salad medoly: In large bowl combine the Drained fruit cocktail which you need to dice a little smaller with a knife. Add coleslaw mix, green onions,sweet n' spicy french dressing, drained diced tomatoes, bacon. Stir well. allow to sit 25 minutes. Prepare patties: Combine ground chuck, ground sirloin with remaining 2 tablespoons 5 chinese spice. lime juice, and 1 tablespoon of saved heavy syrup, salt and pepper. In large bowl mix well with hands. Form into 6 equal patties. When the grill is ready, brush the grill with vegetable oil. Place patties on the rack, cover and cook turning once 6 minutes each side. When patties done place on plate stacked cover with foil. Scoop out approximatley 1 tablespoon of bread from top of each roll. Place rolls, cut side down on outer edge of griil to toast 1 to 2 minutes. while still warm spread thin layer of 5 spice spread on bottom and top half of roll. Place a pattie on the bottom of each roll. Place a 1/2 cup of crunchy sweet salad into the top of each roll place on top of patties. Serves 6
