This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


4 oz Portabella Mushrooms
1 lb Ground Beef
1 lb Ground Chuck
2 Tbs Minced Garlic
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Pepper



Marinate the portabella mushrooms in Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon for 30 min., then drain and puree them in a food prosessor. In a bowl add the pureed protabella mushrooms, ground beef, ground chuck, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix by hand until all ingreadiants are throughly blended. Divide into six ezual size balls and form into patties. Preheat grill at medium setting and cook patties until medium doneness. Serve on a fresh bun with thinly sliced tomato, red onion, lettus, and Grey Poupon.
