A Taste of Africa Burger

Ingredients

2 Roma tomatoes (diced)
2 Peeled garlic cloves
½ medium green peppers (diced)
1 small yellow onion (diced)
2 pounds ground chuck
2 beef bullion cubes
1/8th teaspoon curry seasoning
1/8th teaspoon red pepper (powder)
Vegetable oil for grill
½ cup real mayonnaise
1 beef bullion cube
1/8th teaspoon garlic powder
½ cup vegetable oil
½ head shredded lettuce 1 large baked loaf of French bread

 

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with cover, or preheat gas grill to medium high. In a small food processor combine 2 diced roma tomatoes, 2 peeled garlic cloves, ½ medium diced green peppers, 1 small diced yellow onion, until crushed like salsa. Combine with 2 pounds ground chuck, 2 crushed beef bullion cubes, 1/8th teaspoon curry seasoning, and 1/8th teaspoon red pepper powder together. (Handling the meat as little as possible to avoid compacting beef) Form into 6 burger patties. Brush grill with vegetable oil. Place burgers on grill. Cook on each side for 12 minutes. Combine ½ cup real mayonnaise, 1 crushed beef bullion cube, 1/8th teaspoon garlic powder, and ½ cup vegetable oil together. Whisk with fork until smooth. Set aside in cool area. Place French bread on grill for 7 minutes. Cut French bread into 6 pieces, and then slice bread length way and place burger on bottom piece of French bread, top with shredded lettuce and dribble sauce over lettuce and top with tip of French bread.
