Add chardonnay and mix in meat loosely. Sprinkle in salt and pepper. Form into six patties. Brush ready grill with vegetable oil and place patties on grill to cook. To prepare BBQ Sauce: Mix ketchup, mustard and brown sugar in a grill-safe pan. Place on grill to cook. Remove when sauce boiling hot, set aside. About 5-7 minutes before removing burgers from grill, place buns on grill to toast. Place the inner faces of the buns to the grill rack—do not flip. Remove after lightly toasting. To assemble burgers: Place lettuce leaf on bottom bun. Coat each burger with BBQ sauce by placing the burger in the saucepan and coating each side. Place burger on top of lettuce leaf. Top BBQ’d burger with two slices green pepper and one tomato slice. Close by topping off with top of bun. Serve Hot.
