Reach for our Chardonnay when you’re in the mood for a rich and creamy wine that delights with the fruity flair of pear, apple, and peach.


1.25 pound ground turkey
1/2 cup applesauce
1/4 cup Sutter Home Chardonnay
1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onions
2 tablespoons finely chopped red pepper
1 clove garlic,finely chopped
1 tablespoon Pomegrante glaze or Pomegrante juice plus 2 teaspoons
1 teaspoon Kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
canola oil for greasing the grill rack
6 whole wheat buns, toasted sliced
tomato and sliced red onion



Note: I used a food processor to chop carrots, onion, bell pepper, and garlic Grease grill rack with a paper towel coated with canola oil. Set heat to medium (I used a Weber Gas Grill) In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, applesauce, wine, carrots, red onion, red pepper, garlic, tablespoon of pomegrante glaze or juice, thyme, and salt. Mix well. Form into six patties. Grill 5 minutes on each side. Remove from grill and drizzle with pomegrante glaze or juice. Place on toasted whole wheat bun and serve with sliced red tomatoes and onion. Enjoy!
