Apple Butter Burger

1 1/2 lbs Angus Beef
1 Golden Delicious Apple
1 medium onion
Apple Butter
Bib lettuce
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Balsamic Viniger
Apple Juice
Dried Parsley
Grated Motzarella Cheese
Sesame Seeded Bun



Make Apple Vingrette by dicing 1 apple and finley chopping 1/2 onion (reserve other 1/2) and combine into bowl with 6 table spoons of apple juice, 2 pinches salt, 1 pinch pepper, 1/2 cup balsamic vineger and 1/2 cup olive oil and 1 table spoon of dried parley…….set aside

6 1/4 lb patties on medium grill ….3 minutes on one side and flip and cook 2 minutes on other side. Increase heat now on gas grill and flip and quarter turn burger for 1 more minute on that side and then flip and cook final minute. In final 2 minutes of cooking place buns on grill and toast buns both top and bottom. Remove burgers to rest and salt lightly and sprinkle with motzarella. Remove buns.

Build Burger
1) Place bottom on buns on plate and spread lighlty with Apple Butter
2) then place bib lettuce on that
3) scoop 1 heaping table spoon on apple vinegrette mixture into lettuce
4) top with burger w/melted cheese
5) top with thin onion slice and drizzle with vinegrette
6) add top of bun
