Apple N Chicken Cheeseburgers

Reach for our Chardonnay when you’re in the mood for a rich and creamy wine that delights with the fruity flair of pear, apple, and peach.


1/4 c dark brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup water
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup Apple Ring Cereal, crushed lightly
1 egg
2 pounds Ground Chicken
6 Thick Slices Provolone Cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
6 large onion (Kaiser Style) Buns
1 red onion, sliced thin


Combine all seasonings, cereal and egg with the ground chicken in large mixing bowl – cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Preheat grill to medium high temperature. Form refrigerated patties into 6 large patties. Grill 6 minutes then turn. Grill 6 minutes longer, turn and top each with a thick slice of Provolone. During the last few minutes of grilling brush the insides of the onion buns with melted butter and “grill” to toast. Place a cooked patty onto each bun and top with a thin slice of red onion.
