Pinot Grigio

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.

Ingredients

2 lbs. ground lamb
3 green onions, finely sliced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/2 tblsp. gingeroot, finely diced
1/2 tsp. sesame seed oil
1 tblsp. soy sauce
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
3 tblsp. extra virgin olive oil
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. soy sauce
6 whole wheat hamburger buns
Nappa cabbage

Instructions

Combine the first 9 ingredients in a large bowl and mix. Divide meat mixture into 6 equal portions and pat into 5 inch patties. Place meat patties on a barbeque grill set on low heat and close lid. Cook for 5 minutes and turn the patties over and finish cooking for 3 more minutes with the lid open. Remove from grill and let sit for about 5 minutes. Mix the mayonnaise with the soy sauce and spread on both sides of each bun. Place a patty on each bottom burger, put a nappa cabbage leaf or two on top and cover with top bun.
