Asian Satay Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


40 ounces Ground Sirloin 90%
8 ounces Mild Italian Sausage (Casing Removed)
1/2 Cup chopped Water Chestnuts
1/2 Cup Hoisin Sauce
1/4 Cup chopped cilantro
1 Tablespoon Ground Ginger
6 Slices of Havarti cheese
6 Rounds of fresh Pineapple
6 Large Hamburger Rolls
6 Slices Leaf Lettuce
1 Cup Mayonaise
1/4 Cup Hoisin Sause
1 Tablespoon Wasabi Paste



Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl and let rest in cooler for 30 minutes. Divide mixture into 6 equal size parts and form into patties. Grill patties over medium- high heat for 4 minutes per side for medium rare. Place one slice of cheese on each burger and cook for one additional minute. Remove burgers to rest and place pineapple rounds on grill. Cook for one minute per side until lightly golden. Remove from grill. Place last three ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine. Place one Tablespoon of mayonaise mixture on the bottom of each roll. Top with burger and grilled pineapple slice. Place the top of the roll on the burger, and enjoy!
