Babushka Burger

1 pound ground sirloin beef
2 small links (8oz)fresh polish sausage
2 cloves minced garlic
1 cup canned sauerkraut rinsed well and drained on paper towels. 1/2 cup sliced canned mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon coarsly ground pepper
1 package dry onion soup mix
1 cup crumbled farmers cheese
1 cup seasoned bread crumbs (for coating 8 slices hearty rye bread 1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup canned mushrooms diced
1and1/2 teaspoons ground white horseradish from jar
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon dried dill



In large bowl add ground sirloin fresh polish sausage and minced garlic. In smaller bowl add drained sauerkraut mushrooms onion soup mix ground pepper mix well all ingredients in smaller bowl. Then add to ground meats also adding farmers cheese Combine all ingredients together well. Divide beef mixture into 4 oval patties Coat each pattie lightly with seasoned breadcrumbs. In small bowl add mayonnaise,diced mushrooms,horseradish,salt,pepper,dill. mix well together and spread onto one side of each piece ryebread Grill burgers till done. Grill rye bread till slighty crisp. Serve may use lettuce and tomato if you wish.
