Basil Buffalo Burger

1 lb.Very Lean ground beef (or sirloin)
1 Tpsp. Chopped fresh Basil
1/4 cup Itailian bread crumbs
salt / pepper to taste (I prefer very little)
Cooking spray for grill
1 package Buffalo Mozzarella
Butter for buns
1 package hamburger buns fixin's for burgers



Mix together first four ingredients, it's best to get your hands into it – it mixes so much better. I like blend these the day before I grill, it gives the basil time to come to full flavor. divide the mixture evenly, it will depend on how big you want your burgers, but I usually get 5 good size burgers out of this mix. Spray Grill before you get the coals going. Get coals good and hot. When you place Burgers on the grill let them get fired(We call it burning the burgers) for a minute or so, them move them to the side to cook more thoroughly. Make sure they are cooked thru before removing. Slice mozzarella 1/4 thickness and place on burgers while still hot. Place buttered buns on grill, breifly and remove to plates. Serve with fixin's.
