1 lb. ground chuck
1 lb. breakfast sausage
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
Several dashes Worcestershire sauce
In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients thoroughly. Shape into patties. Cook on a hot grill about 4 – 6 minutes on each side, depending on desired doneness. Resist the temptation to continue flipping the burgers; turn only once. Season with salt and pepper during grilling; we used seasoned salt and pepper. Top with any cheese(s). A slice of swiss topped with a smaller slice of sharp cheddar makes a tempting looking burger. Serve on a grilled bun.
