Becci’s Deeelish Teriyaki Burgers

2 lbs. 85% ground beef
handful of chopped scallions
heaping tbsp. minced garlic
approx.1/4 cup  teriyaki marinade&sauce
approx. 1/2 cup  Teriyaki marinade
fresh or canned pineapple
slices cheese slices (I prefer Cheddar or American with this recipe) Fresh onion rolls



In a large glass or plastic mixing bowl, combine ground beef, scallions, garlic,both teriyaki sauces,and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for at least a half hour (overnight is best). Form beef mixture into one-inch thick patties that are bigger around than the bun (they will shrink as they cook). Make a small indentation with your thumb on top of each burger. Place burgers on a hot grill. Place pineapple slices on the top rack of the grill. Cook burgers to desired doneness. When they are cooked to your liking, turn grill off and top burgers with cheese- leave for a few minutes while the cheese melts. When cheese is melted, place burger on a fresh onion roll and top with grilled pineapple and condiments to your liking. Enjoy!
