BEEF & LAMB BURGER

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

1 Avacodo
3T Cilantro (chopped)
1 Lemon
1 1/2 lb Ground Beef
1 1/2 lb Ground Lamb
1 Red onion sliced
 2 Cloves minced garlic
6 Kaiser buns
Fresh ground salt & pepper

 

Instructions

Chop avacodo & sprinkle with juice of 1 lemon. Add cilantro, salt & pepper to taste. Place the pit of avacodo into the center of this mixture. Cover and place in fridge while cooking burgers. Mix 1 clove garlic, salt & pepper in with beef the do same with lamb. (do not over handle meat) Make beef into 6 patties doing the same with the lamb. Place 1 slice of red onion on beef pattie then place lamb pattie on top of onion, pinch edges of burgers together to seal. Cook burgers on grill @ 4 1/2 to 5 min. per side turning once. To serve place burger on bun top with Avacodo mix & top of bun. serves 6
