Beef Stew Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

1/2 stick of soften salted sweet cream butter
4 cloves of garlic minced
Dash of sea salt and pepper
3 medium size red potatoes
2 medium carrots
Canola oil for the grill
2 pounds of ground sirloin
1 packet of beef stew seasoning
½ sweet onion finely chopped
1 stalk of celery finely chopped
2 tablespoons of Worcestershire Sauce
6 Sesame Roll

 

Instructions

Prepare a medium-hot fire in a charcoal grill with a cover, or preheat a gas grill to medium-high. For garlic butter spread combine soften butter, minced garlic, and salt and pepper in a bowl and mix until blended well the set aside. Slice the potato into ¼â€Â slices about 6 slices will be needed. Lightly brush with oil and season with salt and pepper. Then peel the carrots and cut into 12 1/4â€Â thick long slices and then lightly brush with oil and season with salt and pepper and gill potatoes and carrots on both sides until fork tender. Note carrots will cook faster so watch those closely. Once done wrap in foil to keep warm and set aside. For the patties –in a large bowl combine meat, beef stew seasoning, onion, celery, Worcestershire sauce, and ½ tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper. The divide into 6 portions and make into patties about bun size. Brush the grill with oil. Then place the patties on the grill over medium-heat and cover, cook for about 5 minutes per side cook until the doneness you like. Once the patties are done place on a plate and cover with foil to allow to rest while you prep the buns. For the Buns – Spread about 1 teaspoon of garlic butter on the top and bottom bun and then place buns uncut side down on the grill to lightly grill keep a close eye on them not to let them burn. The butter will melt in the bun. Then set aside. To assemble – on the bottom bun place the burger then place 1 potatoes slice then about 2 carrot slices then place the top bun on and serve.
