Belva’s Best Burger ala Bourgogne

2 lbs. Ground Chuck
1 egg
1/4 Cup Sutter Home Merlot
2T Granulated Onion Powder
1T Garlic Powder
2t salt
1t pepper
2T Worcestershire Sauce
1C fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4C chopped onion
2T Garlic Powder
1/4t Black Pepper
1/2C Sutter Home Merlot
1C shredded provolone or swiss cheese
Don't forget the toasted bun



Chop onion, set aside. Wash and slice mushrooms, set aside. Gather all ingredients. In large bowl, beat egg, add ground chuck, Sutter Home Merlot, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce. Mix well, shape into 6 burgers. Cover and refrigerate. *******PREHEAT GRILL******* In pan, add sliced mushrooms, chopped onion, garlic powder, black pepper, and Sutter Home Merlot. Saute 15 minutes or until mushrooms are tender. Turn off heat. Sprinkle with shredded cheese, cover and cover. Grill burgers 6 minutes on each side. Toast Buns. Place Burger on Toasted bun bottom, top with TOPPING and toasted bun hat. Enjoy.
