1 lb. 80% ground beef
1 lb. hot pork Sausage
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
3 Eggs slightly beaten
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
3 Tablesoons unsalted butter
Gruyere cheese cut into 1/2" cubes



Mix meats, soy sauce, eggs, and pepper with a fork lightly, do not mash. Form patties and lightly press into patty shape. Make an indentation in center of patty and put a small piece of butter and a piece of cheese in indentation; enclose in meat well. Cook 3 to 5 minutes on each side on medium heat, or until almost done. Remove from pan, cover with foil, let rest for 5 minutes serve on buns with your favorite accessories.
