Best Jalopeno Bacon Burger

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.


6 fresh jalapeno peppers
1( 8 ounce) block cream cheese
12 slices of bacon
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 (3 ounce) can French-fried onions
6 hamburger or Kaiser buns, split



Preheat outdooor grill for high heat. Cut the jalopeno peppers in half lengthwise and seed. Spread cream cheese to fill jalopeno halves. Wrap with bacon and secure with a toothpick. Place on grill and cook until bacon is crispy. Place to side to keep warm. Mix together ground beef, teriyaki sauce, dijon mustard and french-fried onions. Form into 6 hamburger patties. Place on grill for approximately 5 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Place each burger on a bun and top with 2 jalopeno bacon wraps. Serve open-faced with top of bun to the side.
