Bill’s Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

2 Pounds Chuck Roast or steak (with fat)
1/2 pound sausage
1 medium onion, chopped
1 medium pepper, chopped
4 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoons garlic salt
1 teaspoons garlic or lemon pepper
1/4 Cup Worshestershire sauce
1 tablespoons Grey Poupon
1 cup fresh bread crumbs
1 egg

 

Instructions

Saute onions and pepper til tender add garlic saute 1-2 minutes more. Remove from heat, cool. Coarsly grind Chuck roast, mix all ingredients together, regrind to mix all ingredients together. Place mixture in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, cool in Refrigerator for 1-2 hours so all flavors blend. . Make 6- 8 patties, place on platter cover and refrigerate. Heat grill, make sure it's clean. Place burgers on grill, close grill for 4-6 minutes (depending on how hot the grill is). Turn burgers and close grill for 4- 6 minutes. Open grill and test burger (red no, pink fine) I use a temperature probe. Place on clean platter and enjoy
