Bison Jalapeño Burger w/Peach Pico

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.


2 lb ground bison
1/2 c chopped red onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2 T fresh peach juice
1 & 1/2 lb diced fresh peaches
2 T fresh chopped cilantro
3T seeded & chopped jalapeño
6 whole grain hamburger rolls



Combine bison, 1/4 c chopped red onion, 1 cloved minced garlic, 1 T fresh peach juice & 2 T jalapeño. Form into 6 patties.

Grill [outdoors, of course!] over med heat ’til desired doneness. Allow to warm on grill to distribute juices after cooking.

Combine 1 & 1/2 lbs diced peaches, 1/4 c red onion, 1 clove garlic, 2 T chopped cilantro & remaining jalapeño for fresh pico!

Remove burgers from grill. Place on buns, top liberally [this is an election year] with pico. Enjoy!
