1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound ground round
1 rounds of focaccia Cut in half horizontally and then into Quarters
1 cup Shreded Fontina Cheese
1/4 Cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 Cup finely diced sundried tomatoes that have been packed in olive oil
1 Tablespoon Bread Crumbs
2 Cloves of garlic finely minced
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Cups of Arugala
1 Tablespoon Sea Salt plus 1 Tsp
1 Tablespoon course ground pepper
1/4 Capers
1 Cup Mayonaise
1/4 Cup prepared Pesto



For the filling: In a separate bowl Combine both cheeses, sundried tomatoes, bread crumbs, garlic and olive oil. Combine the ground beef and the ground round 1 Tablespoon salt and pepper. Shape them into tennis ball size rounds. Make a hole for the stuffing using your thumbs. After the stuffing has been added to the round, pat them into the familiar dic shape burger making sure the stuffing is incased in the meat. Cook on the grill until done. For the sauce combine Capers, Mayonaise and pesto. Coat both sides of the bread with sauce and add the arugala top with the burger. Serves four Enjoy!!!
