Blues Burger

Ingredients

1.5 pounds lean ground beef
3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
2 teaspoon minced garlic
2 tablespoons onion flakes
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 teaspoons olive oil
2 teaspoons garlic salt
6 sliced bakery hamburger buns
1/2 cup cream cheese
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 pound pre-cooked ready to use bacon
1 avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced

 

Instructions

Mix lean ground beef, blue cheese, minced garlic, onion flakes and black pepper together until well blended.

Divide mixture evenly into 6 balls and form patties.

Cook on hot grill for 5 minutes per side (until barely pink).

Mix olive oil and garlic salt together in a small bowl.

Spread mixture on sliced hamburger buns.

Place buns on grill until lightly toasted.

Mix cream cheese and walnuts in a small bowl.

Place grilled burgers on toasted bun bottoms.

Top each burger with cream cheese and walnut mixture divded evenly between each burger.

Top cream cheese and walnut mixture with pre-cooked bacon, sliced avocado and toasted bun tops.

Serve immediately.
