Booty Blastin’ Burger

Zinfandel

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

Burgers:
5 lbs of burger (about 10% fat)
1/2 cup garlic herb bread crumbs
2 raw eggs
2 dabs of dijon mustard
4 drops of Worcestershire sauce
2tbsp's finely chopped fresh basil
2 tbsp's finely chopped fresh garlic
Salt/pepper to taste (approx a couple tsp's of each)
Toppings/buns:
Pack of hamburger buns (fresh from the bakery is best)
Sliced red onion
lettuce
sliced tomato
horseradish
mayo

 

Instructions

Place all ingredients in a bowl including the burger and using your hands mix well. Form into thick hamburger patties and place on the grill or you can pan fry too. While cooking burgers, lightly grill buns on both sides. When hamburgers are done place on lightly grilled bun. On the top half of the bun put mayo and horseradish — enough to meet your flaver likes. We like lots of horseradish with a bit of mayo. Add sliced tom, onion and lettuce to top of the burger. Close both sides together and enjoy!!! Goes best with homemade french fries! And simmer cole slaw.
