Bristolwood Burger

Pairs well with:

White Merlot

Imagine sipping a lighter Merlot. This fresh, pale-pink wine is a nice change from traditional red or white wines.


2 lbs Ground Sirloin, 80/20
Ground Cummin
2 tbs Chili Powder
2 tbs Red Pepper Flakes
1 tbs Onion Flakes
1 tbs Roma Tomatoe
1 seeded and rinsed Seranno Pepper
1 Jalapeno Pepper (Fire Roasted)
1 Avocado
1 Sourcream 4 oz. or 1/2 cup Cream Cheese
2 oz. 1/4 cup Colby Jack 



Step 1: Meat Mix together the beef with the Ground Cummin, Chili Powder, Red Pepper Flakes, and Onion Flakes. Make into 6 even sized patties Step Two: Topping. Rinse tomatoes and remove seeds and fillin, then dice. Roast Jalapeno over open flame of stove until the pepper is blackened. Finely chop the jalapeno and serrano. Peel avocado, mash and in bowl mix with sour cream, cream cheese, until smooth. Fold in peppers, tomatoes, and colby cheese. Refrigerate until ready. Step 3: Cook burgers to between medium and medium well. Step 4: top with topping and serve.
