2 1/2lbs. ground beef
1/8th c Sutter Home Cabernet
2 Tbs.Lite Soy Sauce
2Tbs. Dark Brown Sugar
4-6 garlic cloves through press
1 Tbs. pear juice
1 Tbs. dark roast sesame oil
1tsp. Colavita olive oil plus extra for coating burgers
garnish: 1small cucumber asain sambal(hot chili Sauce), salt sesame seed buns, Kettle chips sprinkled with asian sesame salt



Mix all ingredients not including the ground beef into a large bowl …mix til sugar is dissolved…. add ground beef and mix well….let marinate for at least 1 hour..make into patties then coat with Colavita Olive Oil… make cucumber garnish(below)…Grill over coals (WOOD COAL IS PREFFERED) Prepare cucumber garnish by slicing into 1/2 inch rounds and sprinkling with regular salt and let sit for 30 mins. rinse and drain thouroughly patting dry if necessary. Add 4Tbs. Sambal mix well…. when burgers are done…toast buns….garnish with 2-3 spicy cucumbers…serve with Kettle Chips sprinkled with sesame salt! Enjoy!
