“Cabernet Burger with Guacamole”

2 avocados
3 Tbls. Colavita x-tra virgin olive oil
3 cups fresh diced tomatoes
2 cups fresh minced cilantro
3 Tbls. fresh jalapeno peppers
2 lbs fresh 90% lean groud beef
2 eggs
3 Tbls. Colavita x-tra virgin olive oil
4 Tbls. mustard
4 oz. Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
2 Tbls. seasoned salt
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Vegetable oil for brushing on the grill rack
6 Romaine lettuce leaves
12 slices Country Potatoe Bread



DIRECTIONS Prepare Gucamole in medium glass bowl by smashing avocados and adding olive oil. Next add to same bowl by combining tomatoes, cilantro and jalapenos, mix all together well. To make patties, combine ground beef and eggs,in a large glass bowl. Add olive oil, Cabernet, mustard, seasoned salt and bread crumbs in that order, mixing each time ingredient is added. Divide into six equal portions. When grill is ready, brush rack with vegetable oil. Place patties over medium-high heat for 7-8 minutes each side. Remove patties, stack to side of grill, turn to low and place bread slices on grill and toast lightly. To assemble the burgers spread generously each side with the Gucamole Spread. Place lettuce on bottom bread slice, add burger and second slice of bread and serve. Makes six burgers
