Carolina Peach Burger
Ingredients
2 Lb 85-15 fresh ground chuck
salt and pepper
4 ripe carolina peaches
1/2 tsp fresh habanero pepper or habanero pepper sauce
1/2 t allspice
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup diced onion
4 large slices foccacia or french bread, toasted or grilled
Instructions
Scald and peel the peaches, and slice. Mix with the habanero, allspice, sugar and diced onions, and saute briefly. Form 4 half pound burgers, salt and pepper, and grill to taste. Place on the bread slices, and top with the peach Salsa.
