Cabernet Sauvignon

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.

Ingredients

4 pounds ground beef chuck
(80-85% lean)
1 package onion soup mix
1/2 tube crushed Ritz crackers
1 egg
4 oz. apple sauce
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. Dijon mustard
1 tsp. granulated garlic powder
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 slices of bread (wet)
1 tsp. hot sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. black ground pepper

Instructions

Place all ingredients into a pan and mix. Do no overmix. Shape mixture into 12 patties of equal size about 3/4 inch think and 4 1/2 to 5 inches in diameter. Heat grill rack and coat rack with olive oil. Place patties on hot grill rack over medium heat. Cook 15 to 20 minutes or until desired doneness. Turn only one time with a long handle spatula and do not flatten or score burgers. Test one burger for doneness by cutting in half. Remove burgers from grill and place in buns and return bun and burger to bun bag and close. The burgers will heat and soften buns.
