Cheesy Onion Burger

This rich red easily complements your homemade chicken dishes, red meats, game, and mildly seasoned pastas.


1 lb ground beef
1 medium red onion, chopped
1 onion soup mix packet
1 egg
1/4 C bread crumbs
1/2 C finely shredded mozzarella
onion buns
1/4 red onion, sliced



1. In a large bowl combine all of the burger ingredients. 2. Form patties out of the beef mixture. 3. Grill patties to meet the preference of the person that will be enjoying the burger 4. While the burgers are cooking place a couple pieces of the sliced red onion on the top of the onion bun. Cover the onion with mozzarella cheese. 5. Broil top and bottom of the buns until the cheese is golden brown. 6. Put the patties on the bun and eat.
