Chicken Cordon Bleu Burgers
1 cup mayonnaise
3 tbs Dijon mustard
Â¼ pound of deli smoked ham
2 pounds ground chicken
Â½ cup chopped green onion
1 tbs minced garlic
1 tbs Dijon mustard
1 tsp salt
Â½ tsp pepper
6 thick slices of Munster Cheese
Vegetable oil for grill
6 french hamburger rolls
Olive Oil for rolls
Preheat gas grill to medium-high.
In a small mixing bowl, blend mayonnaise and 3 tbs of Dijon mustard. Refrigerate until ready to use.
In a food processor, pulse ham until finely chopped.
In a large mixing bowl, add the chopped ham, ground chicken, green onion, garlic, 1 tbs Dijon, salt and pepper.
With your hands, mix until just bleneded. Shape into 6 patties.
Brush the rack with oil. Place the patties on the rack, cover and cook for 4-5 minutes. Gently flip patties and grill for 4-5 minutes more. Split open hamburger rolls and brush with olive oil. Grill face down just a minute or two, until lightly toasted. While rolls are toasting, place a slice of munster cheese on each patty and allow to melt.
Top each roll with a chicken patty and heaping spoon full of Dijon mayo.
