chicken wild rice burger

1 pound ground chicken
1/2 yellow onion chopped
1 large carrot chopped into small pieces
1 tsp kosher salt
1tsp fresh ground black pepper
1 Tblsp fresh chopped rosemary
1tsp fresh chopped garlic
1/2 Tblsp fresh chopped thyme
1tsp cayenne pepper
4 butter crackers crushed
1/4 cup cooked wild rice
2 Tblsp Sutter Home White Zinfindel
cayenne mayo(recipe to follow)

put ground chicken, chopped onion,salt, pepper,rosemary,garlic,thyme,cayenne pepper and crackers in bowl. Meanwhile bring a small saucepan to with 1 cup water to a boil, add carrots and cook til tender approx. 5 min. drain and add to chicken mixture. cook wild rice according to directions. add to chicken mixture then add wine. make 4 good size patties and grill on preheated grill approx 6 min on 1st side the approx 4 min on other side. Using a meat thermometer make sure temperature is at least 185 degrees. serve on grilled buns with lettuce,tomato and cayenne mayo.
