1/2 pound Chorizo Sausage
6 Kaiser Buns
Olive Oil for brushing on the grill rack
6 slices Pepper Jack Cheese

Instructions

To make the sauce, combine the Kraft Miracle Whip Dressing and the Tabasco with Chipotle Pepper Sauce in a small bowl, mix well with a teaspoon and set aside in the refrigerator. Combine the salt, McCormick's Creole Seasoning and Lawry's Seasoned Salt in a small bowl. Stir to mix well and set aside. Crush fresh garlic cloves into a small bowl and set aside. Line a plate with paper towels and place Mild Banana Pepper Rings on top of paper towels to drain and set aside in the refrigerator. Cut Sweet Red Pepper (lengthwise) into 24 – 1/4 inch strips, place in small bowl and set aside in the refrigerator. In a baking pan spread out Ground Chuck, then evenly add the Chorizo Sausage, seasonings and garlic and gently blend. Divide the mixture into 6 equal portions, gently form into patties and set aside. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. While grill is heating up to temperature, slice the Kaiser Buns and set aside on a serving tray. When the grill is ready, brush the grill rack with olive oil. Place patties on grill rack and close lid. Grill for 5 minutes on each side for medium. After turning patties immediately place Mild Banana Pepper Rings, 4 Sweet Red Pepper strips and a slice of Pepper Jack Cheese on top of each patty and close lid. With 2 minutes left to grill, place the buns, cut side down, on the outer edges of the grill rack to toast lightly and close lid. To assemble the burgers, remove buns from grill and place on serving tray, then remove patties from the grill and place onto a separate tray. Spread sauce on the cut side of each bun bottom, place a patty on each bun bottom, followed by the bun top and serve. Makes 6 burgers
