2 pounds Ground Sirloin Beef
Fresh Mozzerella Cheese
Pesto – fresh basil, parm cheese, olive oil, pine nuts and fresh garlic
Cut the basil up in fine slices.
Pat your ground beef into a hamburger shape add a little garlic salt. (use about 1/2 pound of meat) Scoop out the center of the hamburger and put the fresh mozzerella cheese and a few peices of basil in the middle. Cover it back with the meat you scooped out.
For the sundried tomato pesto:
put 2 cups of basil, 1/4 cup of parm cheese, 1/2 cup of olive oil, 3 tablespoons of pine nuts and 3 garlic cloves into a food processor along with 1 cup of sundried tomatoes (jar sundried tomatoes is fine.) Blend until you get a paste.
Cook the burger on your grill however you like it (medium, well) and put it on fresh ciabatta bread smother both sides of the bread with your sundried tomato paste and you are ready to enjoy a delicious burger!!!!
