1 cup cooked mushrooms
1 tsp. minced fresh basil very small
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 cups Shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

Mix ground beef, sutter home wine, minced garlic cloves, lemon pepper, Worcestershire sauce, minced basil, to form your patties. Patties are made larger and almost egg like. These are not flat. They are in the shape of thick juicy filet mignon type patties. Patties are to be made tight. Must be packed very tight so that they do not fall apart while cooking or adding other ingredients Patties should marinate overnight inside ziplock bag so that ingredients are absorbed into meat. All ingredients above are used to marinate meat. Once Patties have been made blue cheese is injected into the middle of the patty. Inject as much blue cheese as patty can hold while still holding shape. Grill on medium heat 350 on gas grill for 20 minutes. Every 3-4 minutes use baster brush to brush on a thin coat of Maple Syrup. Maple syrup is to add sweetness, but to not take over the taste of the burger. The syrup shoudl form a very light glaze offering should light sweet taste but not overwhelming to the taste buds. We flip burger to keep blue cheese within the inside. We keep the burgers flipping so that the cheese heats evenly. The cheese must be hot!!!!! When burgers have 1-2 minutes left for completion toppings are applied. Carmelized onions, Buttered Sauteed Mushrooms, and Maple Bacon are added. Then a sheet of Cheddar cheese is laid on top sealing all the goodness within. The top layer of Cheddar holds all ingredients into a tight Brontosaurus package……..A classy delight to taste. Place on buttered toasted bun! You can't get enough. When your initial Brontosaurus bite takes hold of the heavenly burger your tastebuds you will be glad that you met Classy Bob.
