Ingredients

2 Ripe Tomatoes
2 California Avocados
1 Lemon
1 Medium Red Onion
2 cups Snyder's of Hanover Honey Mustard & Onion Pretzel Pieces
Vegetable Oil
1.5 lbs. ground sirloin
1 large egg
1/3 cup Sutter Home Merlot Wine
3/4 t. salt
1/4 t. black ground pepper
1/2 c. chopped red onion
Colavita Olive Oil
Hamburger Buns

 

Instructions

Ahead of time: 1.Wash and slice 2 ripe tomatoes-5 min. 2.Peel and slice 2 California avacados- 5 min. 3.Cut large lemon in half, squeeze juice and drizzle onto sliced avacados-3 min 4.Peel and thinly slice 1 medium red onion-10 min 5.Chop into fine pieces, 1\4th of the red onion slices-5 min 6.Wash and tear into hamburger-sized pieces, 1 Romaine Lettuce 7.Place into food processor, (1 cup at a time), 2 cups of Snyder's of Hanover Honey Mustard & Onion Pretzel Pieces. Turn on food processor until pretzel pieces are broken into crumb-sized pieces.-5 min 8.Brush gas grill with vegetable oil 9.Preheat grill for 10 min 10.In large bowl, combine with hands, 1.5 lbs. ground sirloin, 3/4 cup crushed pretzel pieces, 1 large egg (slightly beaten), 1/3 cup Sutter Home Merlot Wine,3/4 t. salt, 1/4 t. black ground pepper, 1/2 cup chopped red onion. Total combining time about five minutes. 11.Form ground beef mixture into 6 hamburger patties. 5 minutes. 12.Place patties on gas grill over medium heat. Cover and brown each side, 8-10 minutes. 13.While hamburgers are cooking, spread Colavita Olive Oil on both sides of 6 hamburger buns. After hamburgers are cooked, place bun halves on grill, face side toward heat and lightly brown for 3-5 minutes. 14.Serve each hamburger as follows: Place on one side of bun 1 piece of lettuce, 1 tomato slice, 2 Tbsp. pretzel pieces, avocado slice, onion rings to taste and hamburger patty. Spread Gray Poupon on other half of hamburger bun. Place on top of patty and enjoy.
