Crunchy jalapeno Corn Friter Burger With Spicy Mayo
Ingredients
- Burger Ingredients:
- 2 ibs 80/20 chuck
- 1 Tablespoon garlic salt
- 2 Tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tablespoon onion salt
- 1 Teaspoon pepper
- 1 Teaspoon salt
- 11/2 Tablespoon melted butter to brush on burgers and buns
- Small bag fresh baby spinach
- 6 brioche buns
- Seasoning mix:
- 1 Teaspoon celery seed
- 1 Teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 Teaspoon pepper
- 1 Teaspoon cayenne
- 1/2 Teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/8 Teaspoon cinnamon
- Fritter Ingredients:
- 1 Cup frozen
- sweet corn
- 1 box boxed cornbread mix
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 Cup milk
- 1/2 Cup sour cream
- 2 jalapeno peppers with seeds removed
- 1 Cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 Tablespoon seasoning mix (recipe above)
- 2 Cups cooking canola oil
- Spicy Mayo Ingredients:
- 1
- 1/2 Cup mayo
- 2 Tablespoon. name brand chili sauce (the one with rooster on bottle)
Instructions
- 1.
- In large bowl mix beef, worcestershire, salt, pepper, onion salt and garlic powder
- 2.
- Form 6 patties and brush with butter on both sides, place to the side
- 3.
- In small bowl mix all of the seasoning mix ingredients together.
- 4.
- In large bowl mix all of the fritter ingredients together, form 6 patties
- 5.
- In frying pan place the canola oil on a medium heat, when you can place a drop of water into the pan and it splatters slightly, its ready for the fritters
- 6.
- Cook the fritters 3-4 minutes on each side, until crispy.
- Place on paper towel to absorb oil
- 7.
- Start cooking the burgers 5-6 minutes on each side, per 1/2 inch of thickness, or when the thermometer reaches 160
- 8.
- Mix together the spicy mayo ingredients
- 9.
- Butter brioche buns and place on grill for 2 minutes
- 10.
- Place baby spinach on bottom bun, top with burger, fritter and top with spicy mayo
- 11.
- Top with bun and feed your face
