Crystal’s Gobble ’em Up Turkey Burger

Pairs well with:

White Zinfandel

With strawberry and melon essences, this American original is perfectly at home with however you like to unwind.


1/4 lb ground turkey
2 tsp of garlic powder
2 tsp of onion powder
1 tsp of cayenne pepper
1 TBSP of chopped red bell pepper
1 TBSP of flour
pinch of seasoned black pepper
1/2 TBSP of Sutter Home White Zinfindel
2 slices of wheat bread (toasted)
1 slice of swiss cheese



*Wash hands* In a medium mixing bowl, add your ground turkey meat (break apart w/fingers).Add the spices and flour and fold in w/ hands at least twice, then add the bell pepper and wine and fold in until all ingredients are combined and form a meatball and press down gently to form thick patty. Refrigerate for ten minutes and prepare your grill. Put your turkey burger on the grill and leave it for 7 min and turn on other side and grill for another 7 min and flip burger back over and add swiss cheese slice. Put wheat bread on grill to toast for 2 min. and take off. Once cheese has melted add burger to toast and add condiment of choice and enjoy.
