Ingredients

2 lbs chopped beef
1 packet onion soup mix (any brand)
1 1/2 cups matzah meal
1 medium cucumber pared and chopped finely
4 eggs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon italian seasoning
2 tablespoons ketchup

 

Instructions

In the large bowl place the two lbs of beef, add the onion soup mix and the matzah meal, add the chopped cuke, add the garlic powder, Italian seasoning and ketchup, then crack into the mix the 4 eggs. Using your CLEAN bare hands start kneading the mix making sure you can feel the ingredients mixing between your fingers. After about five minutes of mixing with your hands you will feel the mixture come together nicely. Mold 8 or 9 patties and either prepare them for freezing in freezer paper or put them on a wide plate and prepare for grilling
