Evelyn’s No Fail Burgers

One pound ground beef
One Tablespoon Worchestershire Sauce
One Tablespoon Light Brown Sugar- rounded spoonful, not packed.
One Large Egg
Salt & Pepper to taste
Plain breadcrumbs, start with 1/2 cup and add till the hamburger meat stays together.



Put ground beef in a bowl. Make a well in the middle. Add all wet ingredients. Be brave and put your hands in there and mix it up (I would recommend removing wedding rings before this is done). Add bread crumbs. The amount of breadcrumbs will vary depending on how large your eggs are. Divide and shape into 4 patties. You may broil these in the oven or you may grill these outside to whatever degree of done you prefer. Personally, I prefer them grilled. If you are going to freeze them after cooking them: let them cool. wrap tightly in plastic wrap, then in freezer foil.
