Fall Feast Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


2 lbs ground turkey
1/2 cup mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 cup dried cranberries
1/4 cup chopped onions
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/2 cup cranberry relish
6 cornmeal crusted Kaiser rolls



Prepare medium hot fire in charcoal grill with cover.

To make the patties: Combine turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberries, onions and salt/pepper. Form into 6 equal sized patties.

Grill and cook turning once for 5-7 minutes each side or until inner temp reads 165 F. Toast the kaiser rolls on the outer edge of grill for one minute. Assemble burgers and top with equal amounts of cranberry relish and bun. ENJOY!!
