Feisty Bean Burger
16 oz drained and rinsed canned red kidney beans
2 tsp. Sutter Home Chardonnay
1/2 small sweet white onion; chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped.
1 carrot steamed; mashed
1/8 cup hot salsa
1 cup coarse bread crumbs
1/2 cup enriched flour
1 tsp pepper dash of chili powder
splash of lemon
Combine all ingredients together and add more flour to create a firmer texture or more salsa if texture is too thick. Form into patties.Grill on perforated aluminum foil over medium heat for about 15 minutes until firm and brown. Turn carefully.
