Feta and herb burgers

1 1/2 pounds of freshly ground chuck or sirloin
1 farm fresh egg
1 tablespoon of seasoned meat tenderizer
1 tablespoon of Steak Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon basil
1/2 teaspoon oregon
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1 teaspoon salt
1 garlic gloved, finely chopped
1/2 cup of feta cheese, plus 1/4 cup feta
spinach leaves



Pre-heat BBQ to 350 degrees. Coat grill with garlic flavored olive oil Break up ground beef into smaller pieces. Gently mix in egg. Add all dry ingredients except feta. Next add garlic and 1/2 cup feta cheese. Divide into 4 6-oz patties. Make center of patties thinner than the outer part of patties. Grill patties on one side for 3 minutes, turning for another 3 minutes. Do not pat down patties while on grill to keep moisture and flavor in. With one minute left on the grill, sprinkle remaining feta cheese on burgers to melt. Serve on spinach leaves resting on a toasted bun.
