Feta Cheese & Red Pepper Double Burger

The flavors of red pepper and feta mix so well together,
people can’t get enough of it.


3 lbs. fresh ground chuck
Special Seasoning (recipe below)
I cup mayonaisee
1 cup ketchup
3 red peppers thinly sliced
3 cups fresh spinach
3 tbls. butter
3 tbls. veg. oil
2 cups fresh feta cheese crumbled in large chunks (costco president block feta is best)
3 tomato’s cut in slices
6 cornmeal dusted buns

Special Seasoning:
1 tsp. onion salt
1 tsp. garlic salt
3 tsp. seasoned salt
1 tsp. oregano
1/8 tsp. pepper


1-Prepare a medium-hot grill
2-Prepare special seasoning, Add 3 tsps. to 3 lbs. of
ground chuck, mix well, shape into 12 patties.
3-Slice peppers and tomatos, crumble feta
4-When grill is ready, place pepper, spinach, oil & butter
on foil in center of grill. Cook until tender. Remove & cover. Set aside.
5-Brush grill with veg. oil. Place patties on grill, cook 5-7
minutes on each side turning only once. Remove & cover.
6-Place buns cut side down on grill until lightly toasted.

To Assemble:
Put mayonaise on bottom of each bun
Put ketchup on top of each bun
Place one patty on bottom of each bun
Top patty with cooked red pepper and spinach
Add 2 tbls. of crumbled feta to each patty
Top with second patty
Add 2 slices of tomato next
Finish with top bun and serve
