French Onion Burgers

2 lbs good ground chuck
1 packet  Onion Soup Mix
1-2 TBLS Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup of water
Sliced swiss cheese or gruyierre
Sweet Onion slices
Leaf lettuce S
ummer tomato slices
Onion rolls, slightly grilled to warm



Take 2 lbs of good ground chuck and mix in 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup mix, 1-2 TBLS Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 cup of water. Mix well. There is no need to salt the burger mix, as there is salt in the soup mix. Pat out your burgers as thick as you like, preferably about 1 inch thick adding a small ice cube or spoonful of crushed ice in the center to retain moistness. Cook on grill until medium well done or well done, adding swiss or gruyierre cheese right before taking off grill. Put on onion roll with mayonnaise on bottom of roll and a scant amount on top. Add lettuce, tomato and sweet onion. Enjoy!! Simple, easy and delicious!
