Fried Chicken Picnic Burger

1 lb ground chicken
1 lb 85% lean ground beef
1/2 small vidallia onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp grey poupon mustard
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1 10z bag garlic bread nibblers-pretzels
colavita olive oil
cole slaw topping-make ahead
1 bag cole slaw/chopped cabbage
1 c mayo
1 tbsp colavita white balsamic vinegar
1tsp celery salt
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
tin foil
large round roll-preferably Portuguese



*you could make the cole slaw ahead. What I do is mix the mayo, vinegar, celery salt, and sugar- until creamy and well incorporated. I then stir in the cabbage. done for the burger: *place chicken and beef together in a large mixing bowl. *in a food processor- chop onion and garlic. Then add to meat mixture. *add mustard& worcestershire sauce to bowl. *in a clean food processor, coarsley chop pretzels. *mix meat mixture completely- then form into 6 patties. *place chopped pretzels in a flat bowl- dip and press both sides of each patty into the pretzels *turn grill to med./low *place tin foil on warm grill-generously grease with olive oil-place burgers on foil. grill patties approx. 8 min each side- coating foil with oil when flipping.
