Gobble It Up Turkey Burger

You won’t need a bouquet of flowers when you share our Pinot Grigio. This crisp wine with floral aromas is a wonderful way to make an entrance.


1 egg
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
3 tablespoons chopped green onions
1 large garlic clove minced
1 tablespoon mustard
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground turkey
Vegetable oil for brushing on the grill rack
4 slices American cheese
4 hamburger buns split
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons mustard
8 sandwich cut pickles



In a mixing bowl beat egg and milk. Stir in Worcestershire, onions, garlic, mustard, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Add ground turkey and mix well. Shape meat mixture into four ¾-inch-thick patties. Brush hot grill with vegetable oil. Grill patties over medium heat uncovered for 18 minutes, turning once halfway through. Place cheese slice on each burger; cover and grill 1 minute or until cheese melts. Place buns on the outer edges of grill and lightly toast. Spread 1 tablespoon ketchup and 1 ½ teaspoons mustard over top half of each bun. Place turkey burgers on bottom half of each bun. Top each burger with 2 pickles and top half of bun.
