greek turkey burgers
Ingredients
Greek Turkey Burgers with Yogurt/Sour Cream Sauce
1 pound ground turkey
1 box (10-oz) frozen chopped spinach
1/2 to 3/4 cup feta crumbles
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
1/4 to 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 freshly cracked pepper
1/2 cup vidalia onion, chopped fine
3 cloves garlic, chopped fine
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 to 1/2 cup panka (japanese bread crumbs)
Sauce
1/2 cup fat free plain yogurt
1/2 cup light sour cream
1/2 chopped cucumber
2 teaspoons dill
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper
Instructions
Thaw and drain the spinach thoroughly. Mix all ingredients, using only enough bread crumbs to keep burgers together. Form four burgers. Grill outdoors or indoors in a grill pan until done, flipping just once. Mix ingredients together for sauce. Serve on the side as a dipping sauce.
