Green Chimi Burger

Pairs well with:

Zinfandel

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.

Ingredients

1.5 – 2lbs Ground Chuck
1 cup Fresh Flat Leaf Parsley
1/2 tsp Ground Pepper
1/2 tsp Chili Pepper Flakes
2 Tbs Fresh Oregano Leaves
2 Tbs Onion
3/4 cup Olive Oil
3 Tbs Red Wine Vinegar
3 Tbs Lemon Juice
5 cloves of garlic
1 tsp salt Provolone Cheese
Tomato
Kaiser Sandwich Roll

Instructions

First combine all the Chimichuri sauce ingredients together in food processor or blender, pulse until pureed. Put to the side for burger topping. Ingredients include: parsley, pepper, oregano, onion, olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Heat grill to medium/high heat. Form burger patties and salt and pepper to taste. Put burgers on the grill for about 4-5 min. per side. Put buns on the grill to toast during the last minute of cooking burgers on the grill (toast away from flame or you will burn). Put burgers on bun and add the reserved chimichuri sauce add a slice of provolone cheese and a slice of tomato. Yum!!! This meal goes great with a red potato salad, grilled corn on the cob, and fresh melon. And of course, a glass of your favorite Sutter Home wine.
