1 large beaten egg
1 pound ground sirloin
1/2 cup crushed pretzels
1 medium onion finely chopped
2 tablespoon grey poupon
1/4 cup sutter home merlot
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup shredded monterey jack
2 ripe avocados mashed
1 teaspoon virgin olive oil
2 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 teaspoon grated lime rind
dash of cayenne
eight thick slices of toasted french bread
mesclun greens
diced tomatoes



beat egg in large mixing bowl. add in and mix well the ground sirloin, pretzels, onion, grey poupon, melot and pepper. make 4 thin patties about 4 inches in diameter; in center of patties put equal amound of shredded cheese. make 4 more thin patties and place over the cheese patties; seal the edges by patting patties together. Grill or broil using medium high heat. mash two ripe avocados with olive oil, lime juice, lime rind and cayenne. place cooked burgers on toasted french bread slices, spread avocado mixture onto burgers, top with mesclun greens and diced tomatoes. top with remaining slices of bread.
