Grilled Hot Pepper Burger

Bright and full-bodied, this Zinfandel wine is a curious contradiction in tastes.


1 lb. ground beef (9% fat preferred)
1 Tbs. finely minced green bell pepper
1 1/2 tsp. red hot pepper flakes
pinch salt



Thoroughly mix all ingredients together with hands. Form into two (2) patties. Grill to desired doneness (I use 6 – 8 minutes per side). Serve on toasted sesame seed buns, with sliced tomato, lettuce, mustard and mayonnaise
